When you are a cycling enthusiast, you have places you love to go and places you love to avoid. Many states have made bicycle trails that let people ride through the state. When finding places to cycle through the roads, it is a good idea to find a place with relatively warm weather and flat enough terrain. Neither the steep mountains of the Rockies nor the more rolling hills of the Appalachians make ideal cycle trails. California has a log of warm, dry weather and is science. Florida is another great place for long cycling trips.

If you are a mountain biker, you need the rough and rugged trails rather than the flat surfaces in the road. In this place, the hills of South Dakota, the mountain trails of the Appalachian and New England states, and hilly areas in the Midwest provide great biking trails.

Of course, any place in the United States can be great cycling country in the right conditions. If you enjoy cycling, you will not wait to find the ideal place to take your ride. You will ride your bicycle any place in your area where you can. You will not respect the opinions of some random blogger.
