So, you’re heading to Europe to go cycling. Be sure to hit up some of the hot spots for European cycling. It seems the best feedback comes from those who’ve cycled through Western Europe. Spain and France to be exact. These two countries have some of the best scenery and the roads are in good condition and the drivers are friendly. Be sure to check out the Loire Valley, where you can cycle through some of the worlds most beautiful wine country. Tuscany, Italy is another spot you won’t want to miss. It can get steep in some spots, but the hills never last long and the views will take your breath away. Germany is another great place, with lots of bike trails. The Netherlands have the best cycle paths in Europe, but the land is relatively flat and there’s not a whole lot of scenic routes. Heading into Eastern Europe, you’ll find some great scenic tours and the camping is cheap. Ireland is another beautiful place to cycle. The rolling hills, and fishing villages make you feel far from the modern world. Here, everyone speaks english and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. If you hit up even just one of these spots, you will thoroughly enjoy your cycling in Europe.
