Last Summer I lived at the beach and used to ride up and down the board walk every day for some mild exercise and fun. I did not believe there was a risks, so I never wore a helmet. In December I moved to a hill area and bought a new 21 speed mountain bike and still thought I was too cool.

Good thing my brother read one of the articles and told me that Helmets are the best, because we both had different brands and mine ended up protecting me when I crashed head first into ford escort that was going about 25 miles per hour. His broke when he threw it at a brick wall out of frustration. I got a mild concussion, which makes me thank whichever guardian angel was looking over me at the time. I could have died.
